Paper tickets are becoming obsolete. Almost all tickets are now electronic or digital, and your cell phone is the key ingredient.
A new technology called mobile ticketing delivers tickets right to your cell phone. You don’t even have to print them out. The tickets arrive as a text message with a special barcode. When you show up at the event, they’ll scan the barcode, and you’re in the door!
In most cases, you will receive an email alerting you that you have received tickets. You’ll need to have set up an account to display the tickets. For instance, you can set up an AXS account, a Los Angeles Rams account, etc., which will receive and display the tickets that allow you entry into the venue.
They list tickets the same way they get them from the primary ticket company. Electronic/instant download tickets are PDF files you’ll download and print before the event. Mobile transfer tickets are transferred to you and viewed on a mobile phone.
An invoice is not a substitute for any electronic ticket.
When you arrive at the venue, open your AXS app and click the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen. Select your event, and your tickets will display. Simply show your mobile device to the gate associate to be scanned in.
Don’t have access to Wi-Fi? Don’t worry. Your tickets will display in your AXS app on event day whether you are connected to Wi-Fi or not.
